A Bellinghamster and His Travels

So my summer plans were to spend a month in Greece - some on the islands: Patmos, Spetses, Idra, Serifos, Santorini and Antiparos. And a smattering of days spent in Athens, as well. Adventures to islands are the stuff the daydreams are made of on these damp, chilly "Junuary" days in the Pacific Northwest. My sister was going to join me on a leg of the trip, and just yesterday we made the decision to postpone the trip until October for obvious reasons, most beyond our control. I've come to realize that life is full of its inevitable letdowns. To mitigate this, I've learned to develop a Plan B to reduce these the impact of things not happening the way I'd hoped or anticipated.
