The First Post
Iraklia, Greece 2019 I write my first post on the blog as the number of COVID-19 cases continue to increase around the country and world. I live in Northwestern Washington, near the origin of the coronavirus. Still I remain positive. And on the cold waning winter night, wanderlust grows in my heart and soul and I dream of far off places in hopes that I can pack my suitcase soon enough and hop on a plane. Last night I made my flight arrangements to travel to Greece for a month. Basically the entire month of July I hope to spend in Athens and the Greek Islands. I have fallen in love with Greece; and I also love to travel – either around the United States, or around the world. I won’t hesitate to jump on a plane, or hop in my old pickup, to travel far and wide to experience what’s over the next hill or around the next bend. My 2020 travel plans currently include two trips to Greece for two months total, as well as a cross-country driving trip and myriad other trip...
